The best way to learn or improve your English is to take an English for Speakers of Other Languages course, often known as ESOL.
These courses are designed specifically for people resident or settled in the UK and for whom English is not their first language. Focused on preparing learners for everyday life, further education and the world of work.

Who is this course for
You will be taught by a native English teacher in a small class group and in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. This course is for students whose first language is not English and the levels range from Beginners to Intermediate.
What does the course cover
The course covers a wide range of topics that will help you to boost your confidence when communicating in English. The course also will develop your speaking, reading, writing and listening skills as well as spelling, grammar and punctuation.
The course teacher will assess your level of English in the first lesson and work from there to improve your skills. Your class will include people who have a similar level of English to you and from different countries.

Courses run subject to a minimum number of students.
Evening classes, 2-hour lesson each week.
Full or restricted wheelchair access is available at the centre, with two lifts allowing access to the first floor.
Reception staff will be pleased to advise you on parking options if you ring in advance. There is free parking from 5pm close by to the centre. Alternatively to park in the Portsea area a permit can be purchased in the centre (£1.10 for 12 hours).
